Intel preparing Core i7 875K and Core i5 655K overclocker-friendly LGA1156 processors

intel_logo2.jpgWord upon street has it Intel is operative upon twin brand new processors. Designed for overclockers, these twin brand new processors have been called Core i7 875K as well as Core i5 655K. The first the single is the quad core thinly slice while the second the single is the twin core version. Reportedly, the Core i7 875K as well as Core i5 655K have been overclocker-friendly chips that come with unbarred BClk multipliers.

The Core i7 875K is formed upon the Lynnfield core as well as is versed with 3GHz core speed. It has four cores, eight logical CPUs with HyperThreading enabled, 256 KB of L2 cache per core with 8 MB common L3 cache, on-die dual-channel DDR3 mental recall controller as well as PCI-Express 2.0 base complex, unbarred BClk multiplier as well as 95W TDP.

On the alternative hand the Core i5 655K is the dual-core part formed upon the Clarkdale core. It operates at 3.20 GHz, as well as has four logical CPUs with HyperThreading enabled, 256 KB L2 cache per core with common 4 MB L3 cache, on-chip northbridge as well as 73W TDP.

Intel will be announcing these chips around the time of Computex 2010 show.
